Home is wherever I am with you.
I ran, I pant, I jumped, I pant, I rolled, I pant… this little ball of energy had me running after him one time and on my knees the next. He run, I run. He sits, I sit. And just when I am about to pass out… he would slowly come forward, looked at me with those ADORABLE eyes, give a little pout and raise his almost 2 year old arms towards me … mouthing the words “carry me” without necessarily saying them out loud.
My heart was fully taken over by this adorable little guy. I could still remember when I first took photographs of him a year ago. He could barely sit-up then. He wasn’t even 1 during that time, and it took awhile for him to get used to sitting on the ground. He was a fur-ball of curiosity. And still is when I met him again last Saturday, but this time, his little legs would never keep still. He would roll down the “hills” with no care and run around as if the field where we did this shoot was made of endless wide open space.
It is such a pleasure documenting this family grow and taking snapshots of the love that bonds them together. The three of them, made this wide open space feel like home.
love, Dee
