Fresh Feminine Collection from Lolliepop Bestie shoot that I did a couple of weeks back. I’m slowly catching up on posting photos here in my humble blog, and uploading sets in my facebook page. The last few weeks… months… had been really really busy. And I am very much grateful. For those who know me well, they would know that I keep snippet of thoughts either on my phone or a notebook or a tissue or anything that I could write on. And I look forward to reading these thoughts again in the most random moments, and I will take that as a reminder for myself. One of these random moments happened a few days ago.
I have this list I am slowly working on (hahahaha) … it’s my “Remember to Breathe” thoughts, reminders and snippets of encouragement when life’s struggles and hustles leaves us panting. Here’s one that made me ponder :
“Find what makes your heart tick, without being dependent on another.
I’ve realized that I am easily drawn to passionate people. The true blue believers in what they do.
It may be a hobby, a service, a craft. Do It. Even when you feel like you are not good at it.
Trust me, when you love what you do, you will find ways to be good at it.
And your eyes and heart will be drawn to kindred souls who are
as crazy and semi-obsessed with their chosen passion as you are.
Find something to do with your hands, both of them.
Without feeling the need for you to hold on to someone else
for you to actually enjoy what you are doing.
Cause when you do, then you will find your own sweet spot.
Sweet spots are awesome. It’s our own quiet place of rest in the middle of the hustle.”
Remember to Breathe | a work in progress by Dee. 🙂
I know my photography has a lot to improve. I got a long way to go. And I am looking forward to
discovering new things, and telling new stories and meeting new friends while I am in this journey.
I’ve looked at my photographs when I was just starting, and I cringe! Haha.
But I love this craft, it makes my heart tick. And as I grow and learn to love it even more deeply,
I’ve somehow grown and improved in my images.
There’s a whole lot of things out there for me to learn, and I am a happy sponge to embrace them.
